When Linus exits his apartment on the morning of the evaluations, he will find a small paper gift bag hanging on his door handle. The bag contains some flashcards on familiar strategic concepts (example) and a thick pack of strong peppermint gum. Linus may realize that Annie has offered him the same gum during every study session they've had. There is also a dorky note: Here is your mission, should you choose to accept it. Chew two pieces before the written portion. Take deep breathes. Trust your instincts. Remember that you are uniquely trained and highly motivated - a specialist without equal - the living manifestation of destiny. <3
This is also very sweet!! Linus thanked her in person during eval downtime and especially appreciated all the Mission Impossibleness <3 and he definitely chewed the gum
